Trademarks

The Harbor Law Group advises its clients on the selection, use, registration, protection, enforcement, licensing and transferring of federal, state, and common law trademarks and service marks. Our services begin at a trademark’s selection with advice about the prosecution process to minimize the chances of a later dispute. If infringement issues arise, we have handled cases in various industries which implicate all types of trademark and service mark rights. Representing plaintiffs and defendants, we litigate both large and small trademark matters before courts across the country and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

We are well versed in how to approach cases, whether complex or simple. We assess potential risks and rewards and provide innovative solutions for clients. Our litigation practice covers all types of trademark infringement and dilution cases involving trademarks, service marks, trade dress, and domain names. We often favorably resolve litigation at preliminary stages for our clients, whether by choosing a forum that gives clients the best chance to win, filing a motion to dismiss, or obtaining early relief which leads to settlement. We also litigate cases through discovery, summary judgment practice and trial.
